In Liberia, where infrastructure challenges persist outside the capital, access to quality education remains a significant hurdle. As one of the world’s poorest countries, with Monrovia as the poorest capital, many rural communities, such as Zigleah in Nimba County, face limited educational resources. However, Light for All Liberia in collaboration with Light For All Switzerland are launching an initiative that aims to improve educational access for children in this village by expanding the existing school.
Fund the construction of three classrooms
As a start, the new project will fund the construction of three classrooms. Currently, the first school established in Nimba accommodates 90 children,

but the lack of proper facilities limits the ability to serve more students. This extension will help meet the growing demand for education, providing a better learning environment for children in Zigleah and surrounding areas.
